Frequently asked questions.

Holiday Updates:

  • Holiday Delivery: For delivery prior to Dec 25, any regular shipping orders must be placed by Dec 17, and express shipping orders must be placed by Dec 18. I will put them in the mail the next day, however please note that packages are at the mercy of the US Postal Service, so I recommend placing orders earlier, just in case USPS has delays!

  • Custom Orders: Any custom orders for the holidays must be placed by Nov 1, otherwise I may not be able to ensure they’ll be finished in time for holiday delivery.

Can I pick up my order in person?

You can skip the shipping costs by picking up your order from me directly in Fairfax, VA. Just select the “Pick Up In Person” option at checkout, and I’ll reach out to schedule a pickup time. I can't wait to see you!

Do you accept returns?

Yes, I do! If you're not happy with your order for any reason, please submit a return request to potterybymegan@gmail.com.

In your request, please include your order number and the name of the item you would like to return. In addition, please let me know if the item is broken or not:

  • If the item is broken, please send me photos of the damaged item and the packaging it came in. These photos will allow me to file a claim with USPS for damage during shipping. I will issue a refund for the damaged item within five business days after receiving the photos. You may keep or discard the item, as you like.

  • If the item is not broken, please send it back to me in the original packaging. I will issue a refund within five business days after I receive the item and confirm it is not damaged. I am afraid I will not be able to cover the cost of return shipping.

All requests must be submitted within two days after your order is delivered. In addition, please be aware that refunds only apply to the cost of the item itself. Original shipping is non-refundable.

Do you take custom orders?

Yes! Please feel free to email me at potterybymegan@gmail.com. I’d love to chat more about what you’re looking for and timelines for custom orders! Please note, custom orders for 2024 holidays should be requested by Nov 1, otherwise I may not be able to guarantee they’ll be ready by late December!
